Every time we eat and drink here everything is delicious! We love trying new things on the menu and specials - OMG! If you love sushi and a good drink, I recommend trying this place.
What an amazing experience! From the moment I walked in, the service was phenomenal. The sushi chef was gracious enough to suggest each of my courses...which were super tasty! My server was super knowledgeable and made an excellent cocktail suggestion! I felt like I was in great hands.
Here is what really impressed me. As my visit went on, it started to get busier and busier, and busier. The staff never missed a beat! The teamwork and camaraderie was effortless. Sushi chefs were still cracking jokes and throwing fish, the host and bartender were running drinks and food, food and drinks were still coming out looking amazing; everyone was still smiling. It was super pleasant.
Thank you Sushi Dokku for an amazing experience. I can't wait to see you again the next time I am in Chicago.
after we moved from New York, it took my wife and I about two years and over 15 different sushi places to find Sushi Dokku. This is hands down (IMHO) the best sushi restaurant in Chicago. ...and the bar downstairs is a great hidden gem while you wait for your table.
